Mark Bennington as Howard
Most recently on the boards at LA Stage & Film in The Birds of Paradise with Mary McDonnell. Mark has had the great pleasure of working with Paul Sills in various Story Theatre productions, Charles Marowitz in Murduring Marlowe and with Trevor Nunn in An Enemy of the People with Sir Ian McKellen at the Ahmanson. Off-Broadway at Playwrights Horizons: Dr. Amorphous; Carhop Blues and Holy Ghosts . Regional Theater: Private Lives (Ensemble Theatre Co.), A Mid-Summer Night's Dream (American Folklore Theater) and Twelfth Night (San Jose Rep.) Rebecca Marcotte as Meg
A graduate of the Master of Fine Arts Program at the California Institute of the Arts in acting, Rebecca has been working and living in Los Angeles for 17 years. She has been seen on such television programs as ER, Chicago Hope and The Young and The Restless. She has also made some regional theatre appearances at the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Garden Grove Shakespeare and The Arizona Theatre Company. Rebecca is most proud of her work in the LA theatre scene with Singular Productions, Theatre 40 and, currently, Theatre Banshee. She was part of the Ovation nominated cast of Nicholas Nickleby and was awarded a Drama-Logue Best Performance for the LA premiere of The Triumph Of Love. Tom Kiesche as Tom
Tom has been a working actor of over a decade, with credits in theater, film, television, and television commercials. His most recent credits include a starring role in Desolation Canyon, a new Hallmark Movie Western due out this Summer, a really nice guest starring role on Bones, and guest starring roles on Weeds, Big Love & The Unit. He is also a prolific writer, mostly of comedies, having had his work shown on stages on both American coasts, in print, and streaming on the Internet through various websites. Michael Edwards as the motel attendant
Michael is an actor based in Seattle, where he recently completed a successful run of Rounding Third, directed by BJ Jones at the Intiman. His work has been seen elsewhere around the country at the Cleveland Play House and Studio Arena in Buffalo (Michael, in Rounding Third). He spent three seasons at the Utah Shakespearean Festival, playing such roles as Autolycus in The Winter’s Tale, Tranio in Taming of the Shrew, Lucio in Measure For Measure, Clarence in Richard III, and Touchstone in As You Like It. Other recent credits include: Far East (Bob Munger) at Laguna Playhouse; Charley’s Aunt (Babberly) at TheatreWorks; Servant of Two Masters (Truffaldino) at International City Theatre. Apart from “Like Magic,” the rest of his film and television oeuvre includes appearances in “Frasier” and “Beverly Hills, 90210”; “The Outsider” and “The Thoms” as well as numerous national and regional commercials. Michael is most thrilled with the beautiful daughter, Mirren, by whom he and his wife have been blessed. |

Susan Duerden as Jennifer
Susan has worked extensively in Film, TV and theatre in the US, UK, Europe and Canada. UK Television includes Emmerdale (Series Regular), The Verdict (Recurring), The Vice (Recurring), and guest starring roles on Doctors, Attachments, The Bill, 7th Heaven and Holby City. Film includes Northanger Abbey, Chicane, The Trinity Tower, Spinal Tap II, So, This is Romance. Most recently, lead roles in The Lost Princess (HBO), The First Vampire (Pandemonium), Wannabe (7 Deadly Films) Supervolcano (BBC) , Lovewrecked opposite Amanda Bynes and Chris Carmack and the Western Luck of the Draw both releasing Summer 2006. Susan’s just completed filming the thriller Unrest and the comedy A Midsummer Night’s Rewrite, by Will & Grace scribe Barry Langer and is currently working on the animated feature, Flushed Away for DreamWorks. Leading West End theatre roles include Brooke Daniels in the award winning play Popcorn, Thaisa in Pericles and Geraldine in What The Butler Saw. For London’s Open Air Theatre, Juliet in Romeo And Juliet and Vittoria in The White Devil. UK Repertory includes leading roles in Blue Remembered Hills, Rebels & Friends and Hanjo. Her credits in Canada include the award winning roles of Miranda in The Collector and Lady Macbeth in Lady Macbeth, a role she reprised Off Broadway. In LA: Murdering Marlowe (Best Actress nomination, LA Weekly) and Four.
